Why have an ordinary grand entrance when you can have an extraordinary one? It is your big day so make it worth it. Give your guests something spectacular to see when they arrive at the wedding venue. There are so many ways to arrive at your reception in style that you might as well do something out of the ordinary.

#1. Lights

If the hall is properly equipped, you can make a Hollywood entrance under one beaming spotlight. With this method all the lights go dim except for the one spotlight which the bride and bridegroom walk under as the light gets brighter and brighter and follows them until they get to their seats and seal it up with a kiss. This way all eyes will be on them. Another option is to have special lighting effects that can project fireworks on the ceiling as the newlyweds walk in. Also remember to have their favorite song playing on the background.

#2.  Bridesmaids and groomsmen entrance

If you decide to have bridesmaids and groomsmen at your wedding, then use them for a fun and creative entrance. If you have up to four bridesmaid and groomsmen then you’re set. Let them come up with creative ways to enter the wedding reception. This could include a short choreography dance to the sound of a great song; swap of clothes or better still you can allow each couple to do their own style. The bride and groom can enter and finish off with a dance. Don’t forget to thank the bridesmaids and groomsmen for their moves and participation!

#3. Camera flashes

In this case you will need a lot of disposable cameras. Before you make your grand entrance, ask the DJ or MC to instruct the guests to pick up the disposable cameras (preferably with flash) previously set up on all tables and to photograph your entrance just as if you were a celebrity couple in the eyes of the paparazzi. This will also give the guests so much excitement. As soon as you walk into the reception area, you’ll have a ton of flashes lightening up your entrance. You can also decide to make various poses for fun.

#4.  Put on a show

Impress your guests with some talents of your own! Dance ( tap dance, break dance etc.) your way onto the dance floor, sing for the crowd or find yourself a great costume or mask to wear as you put on a show. LED lights, snow machines, fog machines and confetti cannons will also liven things up a bit.

#5. Helicopter entrance

If you are getting married in a place where the traffic gets choked up and you worry about getting to your wedding or reception late, a helicopter entrance will not only save you but give you an unforgettable entrance filled with glamour. This gesture is usually more appreciated when the wedding is outdoor so everyone can see.

A wedding is one of the most important days for a couple. Be sure to make it as special, unique and memorable as you can.
