When It’s all said and done, your guests are now picking up their notepad and other belongings they came with to leave. But wait. Is this what you intended to do? Do you want this to end inside the halls of the room or would you prefer the momentum to build up to greater heights? Your attendees should not only be affected by what you’ve said in the conference room, it should be more than this, your events shouldn’t just have an impact within the four corners of a building, they should be able to sell out your work and represent your brand.
So then how can you stay in contact with your clients and customers after an event? hold unto our hands as we show you the way,
(yes we have a hero complex)
#1. Update Them With Photos
Imagine waking up one said day, and realise you have been tagged on multiple photos at an event you had fun at, that will leave a refreshing feeling and bring back memories you will want to relive again. That’s the kind of feeling your attendees will be experiencing, seeing that they have been updated with pictures from the party, conference, meeting, etc. They can use it to share the pictures with their loved ones and friends, giving your company more publicity and keeps you in touch with potential customers.
#2. Get Them Wanting For More
After you’ve gotten the attendees excited and geared-up by sending them photos as they return back to their normal life, this is the best time for you to hit the iron while it’s still hot and vulnerable. Give them a reason to partner with you and look forward to coming for your next event. Update them with daily information about your events that are in the pipeline, make it interesting enough to convince them to come for the next conference / party / wedding / etc.
#3. Highlight Main Point
Another way which you can leave the attendees wanting for me, is by capitalizing on the main things that boosted the event and made it a successful one, by sharing them on social media via picture sharing sites, it could be your shot away from stardom, you never know.
#4. Send Out Thank You Notes (Hand-written Preferable)
From the attendees that attended your event, think about the ones that helped make the event a success by supporting you immensely by any means possible. Show them how much you appreciate their work and effort, sending hand-written notes will seem much more sincere. You are not only leaving an impression, but also making a good name for yourself, in case you will need help in the near future.
#5. Stay Up-to-date With Your Social Media Feeds
Anything can pop up at any time, the end of a certain event does not conclude your communication with the guests and invitees. Be consistently in touch with them and keep yourself up to date with what’s new and happening, stay in the trending movements. Be willing accept online invitations from past attendees that have been privileged to be at one of your events, it will be a great time to rekindle lost connections and build up new friendship and a relationship with clients.
